Heartsaver courses are intended for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.
Pediatric Heartsaver is intended for individuals with limited or non-medical training. The Pediatric First Aid course is designed to meet the regulatory and credentialed training requirements for childcare workers in all 50 states. This course teaches basic first aid, CPR, and AED skills for children.
The American Heart Association’s Opioid Education for Healthcare Providers Course is a self taught, online course that teaches clinical healthcare providers (EMTs/paramedics, nurses, physicians, mid-level providers) how to provide immediate treatment and care to opioid overdose victims.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification provides healthcare professionals with critical life-saving skills and emergency response techniques needed to effectively treat infants and children experiencing respiratory emergencies, cardiac arrest, shock, and other pediatric life-threatening conditions.
For instructor-led PALS initial certification and PALS renewal courses, students must complete the mandatory American Heart Association (AHA) pretest before attending class. PALS hybrid course participants are required to finish online training modules prior to their in-person skills session.
Upon PALS class registration, you’ll receive an email confirmation with detailed instructions for accessing and completing all required prework to ensure you’re prepared for your PALS certification training.
Our American Heart Association online hybrid class was designed to detect your skill level. If you’re knowledgeable, the online course will be quick and count as renewal PALS certification class. If you’re not very knowledgeable, it will make the class very thorough like you’re taking it for the first time.
No, this is a hybrid class. This is where you complete the online portion at home at your own convenience. Once completed you’ll come into our office for your scheduled skills check session to be tested on our automated CPR stations.
You’re able to take the online portion of the class and skills as many times as necessary until you complete them successfully. If you have questions during the skills our team will be available by email to assist you.
In the very unlikely event that you are unable to complete the hands-on skills in the hour provided, we will happily schedule you for another available time slot!
The digital component employs a dynamic learning system that adjusts its pace based on your response speed and accuracy. This segment may last anywhere from 2 to 7 hours. Meanwhile, the practical sessions usually last 30-60 minutes, with a full hour allotted to complete the hands-on tasks.

In the very unlikely event that you are unable to complete the hands-on skills in the hour provided, we will happily schedule you for another available time slot or move you to a traditional instructor led class at no additional charge!
The American Heart Association and the American Red Cross offer traditional CPR Classes to the general public that are conducted by a certified instructor. Participants are required to learn how to administer compressions and rescue breathing in accordance with guidelines set forth by the AHA and ARC.
While traditional CPR Classes have been taught for 50 years and have changed little throughout time. There is another certification tailor-made for Healthcare professions. It’s called BLS (Basic Life Support) which incorporates 2 person CPR. This course covers a lot more than just cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills – it also teaches skill sets such as how to help someone who’s choking and when to use an AED.

Our Camarillo office operates has the Regional Hub and is staffed with our full-time management and customer support team Monday through Friday, 10:00am to 5:00pm. Our Camarillo office is staffed part-time with its Location Manager and offers multiple public classes every week.
